Black Country Dressage and Endurance

The Optima dressage saddle is, in my opinion, the most comfortable of the Black Country dressage saddles. The external block provides extra security while the short block simultaneously gives more freedom of movement. The slightly more forward flap is perfect for the majority of us with somewhat tight hip flexors. My favorite feature is the more forward balance point which really gets you sitting over top of the horse’s center so you truly can be as one. ~Amanda
The Eloquence Dressage saddle has proved to be Black Country’s most popular dressage model in this range for whatever level you are riding in. It offers a medium deep seat, giving stability without restriction and excellent center of balance. Knee rolls are of medium depth but can be custom built if required.
The Celeste is an endurance saddle ideally suited to trail riders and pleasure riders. It has rings enough to attach all your gear, a small external block for security, and is exceptionally comfortable for both horse and rider for long hours over many miles. The Celeste is appreciated by riders who also enjoy dressage and occasional jumping.

The Equinox endurance saddle is built on a dressage tree and is popular with riders who pursue both disciplines, as well as committed endurance riders. Whether dressage, jump, endurance or GP, the Vinici line from Black Country enhances closeness of rider to horse with the monoflap design – a single layer of leather between horse’s barrel and rider’s leg enables you to communicate most subtly. Those who haven’t sat in a Vinici worry that they will feel the girth straps under their thigh, but years of rider feedback assure you will not!
